COP CONGRATULATES THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO CRICKET TEAM
The Congress of the People congratulates the Trinidad & Tobago cricket team on their outstanding performance in the Airtel Champions League.
Despite losing the finals against New South Wales, this team under Darren Ganga, has made us proud beyond measure and has certainly attained hero status in the minds of Trinbagonians.
Because of the high standard that the team has set for its self, we know that they will be disappointed having fallen short of the ultimate prize. Nevertheless, we will not let this overshadow what they have accomplished, having beaten much more touted opposition throughout the competition.
They are true Ambassadors of Trinidad & Tobago. Darren Ganga and his team have shown the cricketing world and moreso the citizens of India, who Trinidadians are.
So on behalf of the Political leader of the Congress of the People, Winston Dookeran and the rest of the COP family, we are proud of you.
