| The COP Youth Congress is vigorously renewing its longtime call for His Excellency George Maxwell Richards to immediately revoke the appointment of former UDeCoTT board member Michael Anisette from the Senate Bench.
The COP Youth Congress is concerned that the findings of the Uff report questions the integrity of Senator Michael Anisette and clearly brings into question the conduct of the former board, of which Senator Anisette was a leading member.
Mr. Anisette�s Senatorship is clearly a conflict of interest and would have never happened in a first world country. His continued existence in the Senate is highly inappropriate, irresponsible and continues to undermine the integrity of the Senate.
Recently, there have been calls from all sectors in society to have Senator Anisette removed.
COP Youth Congress believes that the recent Uff report gives all the more reason to remove Mr. Anisette from the Senate, and calls upon the His Excellency to fire Senator Anisette immediately.
